Bangkok Trip
It's my first time to Bangkok and I was determined to see the notorious sex shows but i lost courage at the last moment and didn't. ^^;; It was very fun to go in a group, there was George, Gui Wei, Chai Tin and Terence. We came away with some inside jokes - the Thai Girls Show. I always thought it was Tiger Show and i had wondered at the eupherism. Anyway, we have taken to referring to it as the "raa" show, "raa" being the roar of a tiger.

Gui Wei is the undisputed Queen of Shopping!! Being the most experienced, we relied on her to bring us around. It was shop, shop, shop, shop and shop some more!! I think I've never shopped so much in my life!! They kept telling me something is cheap but not knowing the actual price back home, I can't really compare. Like there's this stunning Adidas blouse which cost $28, I was like "so ex" but apparently it'd cost more back home.

Still, I really enjoyed the trip, opened my eyes!!

Hihi! Happy New Year!
I started reflecting on my spending habits today. I used to only own one watch at a time. But last year I bought 2 and this year one more, bringing the total to 3. And this year, I bought 5 pairs of shoes, bringing the total number of pairs of shoes i have to 7. I feel like a spendthrift. Urgh. Must cut down!

work, work and more work

i realised writing all the things i need to do are making me more stressed but i feel compelled to keep listing them down so that i don't forget to do any. but looking at the list of many things to do simply depress me...

how can i ensure i don't forget and yet don't stress myself up unnecessarily?

friends who have been telling me i must be quite free now all get their heads bitten off. grrrr... okay, enough of the procrastination, back to work...

created this just to rant and forget

once read a story about how a man would touch a tree in his front yard and imagine hanging all his troubles at work on the tree and go home to his family with an uncluttered mind. i thoguht this would be my tree. i'm tired of worrying, fretting and being angry over things at work. i hate that i've become so whiny!

hope this works! ^_^
